3. PRIVACY POLICY
Please read our Privacy Policy.
4. WARRANTY
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods you purchase must be:
- Of satisfactory quality.
- Fit for a particular purpose, if you made that purpose known to us.
- As described.
If the goods do not meet these criteria, you have the following rights:
- Short-term right to reject (within 30 days): You can reject the goods and claim a full refund within 30 days of purchase (or delivery, if later).
- Repair or replacement (after 30 days): After 30 days, you are entitled to a repair or replacement of faulty goods. We will cover the costs associated with the repair or replacement. If a repair or replacement is impossible or disproportionate, or if we fail to provide it within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you can then claim a price reduction or a final right to reject (partial or full refund).
- Six-Month Rule: For the first six months after purchase/delivery, if a fault is found, it is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery unless we can prove otherwise. After six months, the burden of proof shifts to you to demonstrate that the fault was present at the time of delivery.
- Up to 6 years:** In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you may have up to six years from the date of purchase to make a claim for faulty goods (five years in Scotland). However, this does not mean that goods are *expected* to last for six years; it's a time limit for legal action. The reasonable lifespan of the product will be considered.
.uk will assume the costs arising from the replacement or repair of products purchased by the customer that do not meet the statutory rights described above.
This is a summary of your key rights. For detailed information from Citizens Advice, please visit www.citizensadvice.org.uk/consumer/ or call 0808 223 1133.
